HMS Cornwall was a Batch 3 Type 22 Frigate of the Royal Navy. She was the first Batch 3 to be commissioned in 1988 and the last to be decommissioned. Her designed was altered from the previous Type 22's taking into account those lessons learnt in the Falkland War. Cornwall and her sister ships were used in a general warfare role.
This is a 1/700th scale waterline kit of HMS Cornwall and the kit contains resin and white metal parts with photo etch and decal details with an assembly guide. The kit also contains the pennant numbers and flight deck marking for the other three Batch 3 frigates, HMS's Cumberland, Campbeltown and Chatham.
