This is a 1/700th scale waterline model of HMS Daring, the Royal Navy's Daring Class Destroyer c.1949.There were eight Daring's in the class and also three serving in the Australian Navy. At the time the daring's were the most heavily armed destroyers in the Commonwealth. The kit contains resin and white metal parts with some phot etch and decal details and an assembly guide.
The pictures of HMS Daring on a sea base show what can be done with the kit when made up. The model is made using only items supplied in the kit, the sea base is not included.
