This is a model of HMS Glasgow. The Royal Navy's Type 42 Batch 1 Destroyer also known as the Sheffield Class. Glasgow was one of six Batch 1 versions of the Type 42. In service from the late 1970's through to the early 2000's the Type 42 Destroyers where the work horse of the Royal Navy. The kit contains a resin hull and super structure, white metal fittings, photo etched detail and decals for D88 (HMS Glasgow).
