HMS Kent

I've built a lot of these kits. I'm no scratch builder and I'm interesting in building a fleet of '70's Cold War RN vessels. This is a lovely model. Parts went together well though the white metal needs a clean up. The brass etched part for the sea slug launcher cage is excellent and folds into a really nice frame. Mine came As. A dark grey resin hull, which I love as it is a good match for the deck grey which came in mid 70's, so I don't bother to paint the decks where they should be grey. Got the Glamorgan next, which is a light grey!
